Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA) – Azure SQL

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL databases (both on-prem and cloud)

• Handle database design, backup & recovery, performance tuning, and high availability

• Support production and pre-production environments across multiple locations

• Implement security policies, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to DR planning

Must-Have Experience:

• 8+ years in enterprise environments with Microsoft SQL Server

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure SQL & PaaS

• Performance tuning, AlwaysOn, clustering, backup/recovery, and PowerShell scripting

• Solid understanding of ITIL, SDLC, and database architecture

Preferred Skills/Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DBA Associate or similar

• DevOps, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MySQL

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
