Who we need

 

Reporting to the Manager of IT, we are looking for an Infrastructure Operations (OPS) Analyst to join our team. This role involves managing, optimizing, automating, and scaling Array’s infrastructure while ensuring high performance, reliability, and customer service standards. You will collaborate with IT teams, business partners, and vendor partners to deploy server technology and virtualization. You will monitor system health, ensure automated backups are running correctly, and minimize disruptions to our infrastructure. You will support disaster recovery initiatives, conduct testing, and optimize recovery processes to ensure business continuity.

 

This is a hybrid role, working remotely for 2 days and on-site for 3 days with some flexibility.

As our new Infrastructure OPS Analyst, you will: 

 

  • Manage IT Infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain core business systems and applications while ensuring infrastructure scalability and reliability. You will oversee backup systems, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness, and manage virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
  • Configure and automate. You will configure and deploy server technology, including virtualization, and use configuration management tools to standardize and automate system configurations. You will optimize infrastructure through automation, reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize. You will implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure infrastructure and application health. You will continuously refine automation scripts for better performance and resource utilization while testing and updating disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime during system failures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve. You will identify and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. You will proactively analyze current technologies, recommend improvements, and implement best practices to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Support projects. You will work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives. You will stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for cost-effective solutions and performance optimizations.

You have:

 

  • The knowledge. You have an in-depth understanding of networking concepts, systems security best practices, and technology operations. You have extensive experience working in an Agile environment or following an established release protocol. You are proficient in monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance. You understand best practices for configuring, implementing, and maintaining cloud platforms, automated testing frameworks, issue tracking and resolution systems, and incident management processes.
  • The technical skills. You are proficient in Microsoft server technologies and the Microsoft .NET software stack. You have strong knowledge of systems virtualization, including Hyper-V and VMware, and experience configuring and maintaining VEEAM Backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions. 
  • The ownership. You are detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work. You can manage competing priorities effectively while ensuring deadlines are met. You take initiative in resolving issues and persist until a satisfactory solution is achieved.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences. You collaborate well with  IT, various business partners, and vendor partners. You thrive in an autonomous role and can effectively communicate the business impact of technical issues.
  • The flexibility. You understand the demands of an always-online environment and can adapt to changing priorities. You are prepared to respond to high-priority issues and are willing to work outside regular business hours, including weekends, for system patches and updates as part of an on-call rotation. You are self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
