Who we need

Reporting to the Executive Director - PMO, Vendor Management and Operations, we are hiring a Project  Manager. You will be a crucial player as we undergo an exciting period of transformative growth. You will execute plans for operational projects, align and drive the project deliverables, mitigate risks, define proactive resolutions, and resolve operational incidents.

As our new Project Manager, you will:

  • Contribute to achieving the PMO team's mandate. You will act as a central advocate for the organization's sustainment of best practices in project management, frameworks, and related vendor operational playbooks. 
  • Manage approvals, acceptance, and sign-offs for assigned projects. You will support solution selection and implementation, ensuring strategies and plans are in place to effectively manage any IT and operations change.
  • Deliver business-critical operational projects. You will lead and execute the projects in your assigned portfolio from end to end, eliciting needs, identifying objectives, and engaging resources. You will provide subject matter expertise in planning, resourcing, risk management, financial management, and change management. 
  • Communicate and measure. You will foster highly effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, keeping them informed on the progress of projects, financials, and organizational impact. 

You bring:

  • The project management expertise. You have proven successful experience as a Project Manager, leading project teams to deliver complex, cross-functional projects from end to end. You have excellent organizational skills in a demanding, multi-system, multi-service provider environment.  
  • The accountability. You have a proven track record of good business relationships and business value delivery, operating successfully in a matrixed environment. You think creatively and have an analytical approach to problem-solving, task, and time management. You can work alongside other project managers, following and contributing to best practices.
  • The adaptability. You work with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm, thrive in an evolving environment and step up to different daily challenges. You have the confidence to take new ideas forward and productively challenge the status quo. You can explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience, demonstrating business value and impact. 
  • The interpersonal skills. You can influence without authority and work in partnership with teams, managers, and executives. You have effective professional written, verbal, and presentation skills. You are highly collaborative and genuinely interested in understanding others, hearing their perspectives, addressing their concerns, resolving conflict, removing roadblocks, and encouraging high-quality results.
